Well - I keep saying, "I'm not going to do flat rates anymore because..." I'm finding that somehow the clients keep finding new ways to push the envelope and want more than what they are able (willing really) to pay for.
I don't know about you, but I am just having a hard time settling on an hourly price that fits both their budget and my willingness to work for "X" number of hours for "X" number of dollars.
I'd be interested in knowing what experiences others have had in this area. How do you overcome? Or - do you simply take what they offer and then work the project into the ground (because they aren't really ever satisfied)?
There has to be a way to generate the business on an hourly rate and make a living. Is there?
