In doing mastering sessions there always seems to be one song in the bunch that doesn't want to bounce, I get a message saying, " could not complete, file did not reach logical end(-39)"
It doesn't matter if I import the song off the CD into the session or record it into the session analog, I still get the same message, what does this message mean? and why am I getting this message? I've tried switching to a different drive, shuting down the computer, and a number of other things, and naturally it doesn't give me the massage up front, I don't get the message till after the whole song plays and it does the convert, its very frustrating and time consuming, can you help me please? R.B.

Hi There,

Which version of protools are you using? I think that might be a bug they fixed in a cs update.

Try highlighting a second or two before and after the audio starts and ends. I think this is the work around for that one. (also check out the digidesign users forum on ge digidesign site)

Also check that "Convert After Bounce" is checked in the bounce dialogue box.
