Using a video peripheral other than mojo 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Does any one use their HD system for tv post?
I am trying to use a convergent design sd connect box via firewire to convert the video for use on analogue monitors in the studio and voice booth. I can't seem to make the two recognise each other and wonder if I'm missing some firmware or other setting. Anyone in the know???

Cheers

Torin

Hey Torin, your video file has to be a dv quicktime or it won't give you the option to send your vid out via firewire (it'll just be greyed out) even if the movie will play back in pro tools. Double check your file (open it in quicktime and hit apple - j) to check its format.
