Can PT HD track through outboard FX with no delay? 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0  
I'm a logic user and I'm wondering if its possible to use PT HD to insert an external effects box as an insert into the PT mixer, while tracking an audio input through it with no latency on the monitor outs?

If it is truly "no latency", how could this be possible, given that the signal goes through the A/D, then another D/A, A/D chain.??

There will always be some latency in digital audio no matter what application you use. How much depends upon the devices involved and how you are connecting the two devices (digital or analog).
