Exporting .AVI and .MOVs in Pro Tools HD 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hello,

I'm newly converted to Pro Tools and I'm looking for some advice...

I'm editing .mov and .avi files in PT HD with good results. Is there a way to export back to .mov or .avi in a way that is quicker than realtime?

I can 'export' quick when its just audio but I'm looking for a quick way that includes the video.

Cheers

Dave

You can use "Bounce to Movie" from the file menu. This will combine your audio with the video track, but it is done real-time (for the audio and an additional process to write the movie).

there's a thread around here where we talked about PT's real time bounce. Believe me...we don't like it either
