I just bought the pro tools m powered 7.4 and the preojectmix I/O and I can't figure out how to get the projectmix to control the program on the computer. I can record but the other buttons like play, stop, rew, don do anything. can you direct me to the info needed? sorry but I'm a beginner at this. thanks so much

I'm sure the answer regarding how to set it up is one of the first things in the manual.

I've read the manual over and over. it mentions something about a midi learn function with the software. do you know where this is? does pro tools 7.4 have a midi learn funchtion. thanks

I have never worked with a project mix, but I'm pretty sure you have to set it up in the peripherals dialog before PT will know to use it for transport etc. type functions. Again, knowing the PT manuals, I'm sure this is clearly laid out in the manual for the device. If there is a "Getting Started" manual, they often put setup stuff in this manual.
