Recommend a good Drum package? 3 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
I usually insert EZ Drummer onto my midi tracks in Pro Tools, but have gotten bored with it (namely Drumkit from Hell)- can anyone recommend any good drum samples I can buy (that can just be inserted onto an AUX track in Pro Tools)? Some good heavy rock kits?

I have DFH and the new Superior 2 update. I really like it (hate the EZ Drummer component for pattern playback, though). I also have Strike and I like the flexibility, and although I usually write my own drum parts, I like the way they have implemented the patterns into the drum module and the ease of altering a pattern. I have BFD lite, but never updated to the full version.

There is also the new Ocean Way drum samples, but they are expensive in comparison to the others that I just mentioned.
