003 and external effects device 4 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
I'm a novice to the whole pro tools thing and I'm learning as i go. i have the external effects machine routed in and out through the s/pdif connections.
i recorded a dry guitar track then routed the out on that track to the s/pdif on the 003. i can see on the effects device that the signal is reaching it but i can't figure out how to route the signal back so i can hear the processed sound from the guitar track.
can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong or tell me what to do next?

i apologize in advance if my explanation seems like nonsense and i will try to relay my situation differently if need be.

windows xp
pro tools 7.4
dual core processor
2 gigs ram
003 factory

Thanks!
J. Steele
