Since your interface has no midi ports, you cannot sync your MP with Pro Tools via Midi. Maybe there is another way to sync, maybe with beat detection or something, but I am new to Pro Tools as well, so midi is the only sync method I know.
So they should have gave you 2 1/4" audio cables. One end of each cable will plug into the output of your MP/mixer and the other ends will plug into the 1/4" inputs on the back of your interface. Make sure you connect left to left and right to right. Looks like channel 1 input is on the front and channel 2 input is on the back. It's weird they did it that way, but I am sure there is a reason. So one of your cables will be sticking out of the front of your interface.
Now make a new stereo audio track in PT. Push the R button on the track to arm it and hit play on your MPC. Turn up the two gain knobs on your interface and you should have audio going into your session. Make sure you have another set of 1/4" cables in the ouptuts of the interface going to your reciever. You may need adpaters to connect the other end of the cables to your reciever if it doesn't have 1/4" inputs. Good Luck!

You're better off getting two 1/4" cables and input them to the M-Audio interface. You'll also need two midi cable and a midi interface if you want to keep all the MPC audio in sync. There are a few settings you'll have to make in the midi studio (mac) and beat clock section of Pro Tools once you have the midi interface. In midi studio, you'll configure your midi interface to communicate with Pro Tools and set the beat clock to receive and send messages to your MPC. but for starts, get the audio and midi cables and the midi interface.
