Hey All - I know that most want to collaborate with original music, however I recently recorded drum tracks that I would like to work with other artists to put together a "virtual" mix of the song Animate by Rush. I am looking to gain experience on mixing and working virtually with other musicians. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

I'd be down to do the guitar. I too need more sessions to practice mixing with. Do you already have the drums recorded? I'm very busy but the guitar doesn't seem very difficult at all so I think I could learn/record/mix the guitar it in one day. (assuming I can find a whole day that I have free!)

Cool - Yes, I have the drum tracks laid down. I have not edited them much at all, so there are a few mistakes, but it is fairly solid, no major issues. Decent engineered recording. Let me know what you come up with! Thanks man.

You should send me the pro tools session. Can you compress it and fit it on rapidshare? If you don't know rapidshare, just go to rapidshare.com and you can upload your files there. It has to be under 200mb. Then when it's done uploading they tell you the link to download it. Paste it here and voila! The other option is foldershare.com, they have a cool filesharing system that has no size limits. Once I get the drum tracks I'll start working on the guitar and maybe do some editing/premixing and send it back. Be sure to save ALL pro tools sessions and audio files of your own so you can always go back.
