Can you exchange it where you purchased it? I use that book for my beginning audio classes. The content of the DVD is about 630 MB. I don't know if I have the latest version as I'm not teaching that class this semester, but my colleague is, and I could get the newest content (if it is any different). However, it would probably be easier for you to get a new book (or DVD) from where you purchased it.

Put it in your computer. There are some sessions that you can copy to your hard drive and use as you go through the book. There may also be some videos that you can open with QuickTime on the computer, but I don't remember.
