I idolize contemporary electronic music artists. My favorite music style is that of Bassnectar. I have the skills and the will, i just need the know how. What are some ways via pro tools to create heavy/intense/sexy electronic beats. I am a drummer and a keyboardist and i like to have my control. I dont want a "drummer in a box" i want to make my own beats starting at making the sounds that make up the beats. I am open to ANY insight! talk to me people!

A lot of German electronic music has very intricate prodution techniques. Check out M.A.N.D.Y, DJ T and Booka Shade on the label 'get physical'.

'Swag' and 'inland knights' are also worth noting for their production techniques. A I have a friend who is also noted for his style, check out his music here:

Listen to music and get your own style!
