![]() In 1998, Metric Halo released Channel Strip, the first plug-in to bring large format console-style processing to Pro Tools. Since then, Channel Strip has remained a popular choice for engineers, and is also now available in other native formats. But, by Metric Halo's own admission, Channel Strip has struggled to keep up with the latest technologies. So they've updated to version 2.2, fixed some bugs, and tackled many of the incompatibility issues. Channel Strip will now run on Digidesign's Accel PCI and PCIe cards, rather than just the PCI version of the core card, with up to 16 instances at 48khz. It is also compatible with Intel Macs. Version 2.2 includes bug fixes for a problem with the gate at 96khz on MIX and HD systems, as well as a window resizing problem, and the plug-in now has a clip indicator, which supports the system wide clip indicator reset command in Pro Tools. Upgrades are FREE for all registered Channel Strip users! Link to full product information |
